Retail Leaders Gathered at Nebim Planet 2023

Nebim organized Nebim Planet 2023 event on May 9, 2023 at Wyndham Grand Levent with the participation of approximately 450 people. In the event where new solutions and improvements added to the Nebim V3 product family were introduced, BR Merchandising (Altınyıldız Classics), DeFacto, Ecco, Gizia, Gündoğdu Furniture, Kiğılı ve Orka Holding (Damat&Tween-D’S Damat-Beverly Hills Polo Club) representatives of the companies shared their experiences about the contributions of Nebim V3 to their business processes in Turkey and abroad with the participants.

During the event, Nebim's business partners Artı Partners, Doğan, E-Finans, Hugin, Kayaport, Mobildev, Turatel and Verifone informed the participants about their solutions integrated with Nebim V3 in the foyer demo areas.

Nebim General Coordinator Sedat Taşçı, who made the opening speech of the event, stated that Nebim V3 has reached more than 7500 companies with the opportunity it provides to meet with large masses in the corporate and SME segments thanks to its four different versions.

Taşçı emphasized that by expanding the domestic and international distribution channel of the Solution Partner network, they have reached approximately 80 solution partners in Turkey and around the world, including solution partners in Azerbaijan, Austria, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Macedonia, Uzbekistan.

Speaking about the technology solution partnerships they cooperate with in the Nebim V3 ecosystem, Taşçı stated that they continue to increase the productivity of companies with Nebim V3 productivity measurement studies, and that they support the sector's need for trained personnel through the Nebim Academy training portal and cooperation with many academic institutions with the importance they attach to education.

Nebim General Coordinator Sedat Taşçı ended his speech by informing that Nebim head office moved to Nida Kule and R&D moved to ITU Teknokent Arı 6.

Mentioning Nebim's overseas operations, Tançel Coşanay, Nebim Overseas Sales Channels and Operations Manager, stated that V3 is operational in more than 30 countries, in more than 20 interface languages, in more than 1000 stores of more than 80 brands and that Nebim V3 will soon be active in more than 40 countries. In his presentation, Coşanay also talked about the localization processes in the countries where Nebim V3 is used.

DeFacto Information Technologies IT Bs Osman Tahtalıoğlu explained the details of their cooperation with Nebim in the franchise part of DeFacto, a clothing brand with over 500 stores in 50 countries. He stated that Nebim took over the whole process in countries where there are differences in legislation in the process of opening new stores abroad, and thanks to Nebim, everything from store opening to the delivery of data the next day is easily handled.

Founded in 1986 with the vision of giving direction to men's fashion wear, Nihat Onuk, Director of International Business Development of Orka Holding, said that Nebim is a valuable business partner that has an important function in our processes with the effect of localization processes and multi-language support in the realization of our vision in a way that will accelerate our branding abroad by strengthening our processes both in pre-season planning and during the season by strengthening our work with Nebim for more than 25 years, and talked about the benefits of Nebim in their operations.

Nebim V3 Specialist Mine Körlü explained in detail how operational efficiency increased with the development of the Nebim V3 Mobile Store application and how the back office and front office operations started to be managed from a single screen and showed how the operation processes progressed live on the application.

BR Merchandising Altınyıldız Classics Mahinur Şanlı, Stores Inventory Management and Support Operations Manager, said that progressing by exchanging ideas with Nebim at the point of what we should improve while managing our store operations facilitates our processes, and talked about the processes they have experienced in their own stores regarding retail order fulfillment, receiving remote sales orders, automating the allocation processes of the products sold, making the shipment from the most suitable location and inventory management, which are important pillars of the Mobile Store Application.

Nebim Senior Training Specialist Şerife Taşkıran talked about the processes, algorithms and parameters of Retail Fulfillment Management in her presentation and mentioned the contributions related to the acceleration of the process by following the cargo integration processes required for the last stage of the order from within Nebim V3.

Kiğılı Information Systems and Technologies Manager Erhan Tav talked about the Omni Channel transformation journey that Kiğılı, which has 200 stores in 67 provinces and 61 stores in 51 countries, needed as a result of the development process of technology and changing shopping habits during the pandemic period, and the Retail Fulfillment project they realized with Nebim. Stating that they opened store stocks for sale on online channels with retail order fulfillment, Tav explained the impact of Nebim V3 in providing a unique customer experience by removing the online offline sales channel distinction.

Salih Cankurtaran, Nebim Productivity Project Manager, stated that many processes such as Shipment Planning Processes and Mobile Delivery Applications, shipment planning, pre-delivery and post-delivery processes and contribution calculations of delivery drivers have started to be compiled through the program. Cankurtaran gave information about the priority criteria, filter options, order listing, route planning, mapping steps in shipment planning processes and delivery note listing and delivery processes in the mobile delivery section.

Gündoğdu Furniture Information Systems Technology Manager Ahmet Yürük, who meets with the end consumer without any intermediary with its own makes its own sells slogan, 140+ factory sales stores, 30+ distribution warehouse channels, talked about the sectoral gains they have achieved with the cooperation between Nebim and Gündoğdu Furniture for more than 30 years. He talked about the processes they developed in collaboration with Nebim for the installment sales aspect of the furniture sector, the contributions of customer intelligence management, which is one of the Nebim V3 developments, to the follow-up processes, the product package tracking and set & combination tracking gains from Nebim V3's solutions specific to the furniture sector, the end-to-end and integrated tracking of delivery & shipment planning and sales-delivery cycle processes through Nebim V3, and the positive contributions of these developments and applications to business processes.

Adem Balcı, Nebim Business Intelligence Expert Adem Balcı, who gave information about the Nebim V3 Budget program, mentioned the benefits of the budget program and talked about the ease of budget processes without the need to deal with heavy tables and formulas by budgeting turnover, quantity, other income and expenses very quickly, and reporting budget and actuals quickly.

Mecit Dağdeviren, Finance Director of Gizia, the representative of luxury fashion, stated that they are happy with the positive contributions of the value added by Nebim, which he described as their great supporters, from the creation of the product to its sale in the store, to their business processes. As an example that the Nebim V3 Budget program facilitates the follow-up of every branch in the business processes, he stated that they manage the store in the decoration process by creating a project code over the budget; all the elements that will help manage the process in financial terms such as offers, invoices, reporting are progressing efficiently and integrated with Nebim V3 Budget.

Ümit İmice, Nebim CPM Project Manager, mentioned that retail-specific reports are prepared for Business Intelligence, and then these standard reports are adapted together with the user, and emphasized the flexible authorization and go-live processes in a short time, which are important features of Business Intelligence.

Cengiz Kırgezen, Senior Merchandiser of Ecco Middle East and Africa, who emphasized the importance of profitability in his presentation and has an important position in the sector with 2200 stores in 89 countries, explained the benefits they obtained from Nebim V3 Business Intelligence reports that they adapted to their own company to increase profitability. He expressed the decisions they made with the valuations they made on store basis from the reports they could access with a single click during the campaign processes, the contributions of Nebim to the fast decision processes for fast inventory management, and the importance of KPIs to achieve the standard and ensure continuity.

Nebim Business Development and Production Manager Yılmaz Akgül shared Nebim V3 version innovations in the last session. He explained the new developments and integrations in the areas of Retail Sales, IYS and Leave Marketing Management, Finance and Accounting, Nebim V3 Mobile Application, Inventory Management, Human Resources and Payroll, Procurement and Product Management in detail to the participants.
