The Data Warehouse has been designed to allow for effortless reporting of data held on ERP and is optimized to perform searches that produce analyses. Data Warehouse includes an operational database and analysis cubes with a different design than in the ERP.
The cubes that provide ease of functionality to the Data Warehouse and which allow you to perform multi-dimensional searches on the data are V3, Payables and Receivables, Cost Centers, Human Resources, Payments, Accounting and Instalment Sales.
By use of the ‘Perspective’ feature built into the Data Warehouse Scanner, you can design simplified reports by selecting the area which contains the values and the parameters that you need to analyze a particular set of data; for instance, inventory values, location, product and a date range can be selected for a report. You can grasp whether the rows and columns attached to the fields have been filtered or not and view the details of the filters in the report you have prepared. By double-clicking on any cell of the report, you have focus on this cell’s row and column values.
You can add new values to the perspective menus you have previously created. Values and parameters can be moved around in the menu and you can format the menu to suit your needs. The Data Warehouse scanner includes “before” and “after” buttons which will permit you to undo or redo actions step by step.
The reporting feature can be used without affecting the ERP’s operational database performance and without slowing your working operations. The Data Warehouse Reporting Services is accessible to a numerous range of varied reporting software such as Excel or other platforms.
As well as Turkish, your reports can be prepared in two other languages featuring products, product specifications and hierarchies, retail and wholesale customers, supplies and store features.
Using Delta Updating, the Data Warehouse will only update those ERP entries which have changed since the previous update and only upon request. For example, in case your company has data spanning the previous 3 years and the data has only been changed in the past 5 months, using Delta Updating will allow you to transfer only the past 5 months’ worth of data. By means of this, you will obtain a much shorter cubing time.
