The legal requirements aside, we can say that one of our main targets at İhlas Holding was to bring together all ERP needs of our companies that are active in different lines of business. With Nebim V3 ERP, we have consolidated with regards to accounting our group companies working in various fields such as the health sector, the education sector and the construction sector.

Can you please talk about the history of İhlas Group, which entered the construction sector following the experience of around 20 years in journalism?

Our company was founded on 22 April 1970 in order to publish Türkiye newspaper. In the first years, the company was active in press, typesetting, printing, book trade, magazine publication, the publication and distribution of Türkiye newspaper. With the trade and production of small home appliances, the company started being active in commerce and industry in the following years.

As the news and press activities grew, companies were founded such as cassette production company, news agency, and broadcasting. The TV channel TGRT and the news agency İhlas Haber Ajansı A.Ş. have been leading companies in the sector.

Our company grows and develops each and every day. Our hospital Istanbul Türkiye Hastanesi was founded to serve the needs of the health sector. With a well equipped laboratory, diagnosis units and operation rooms, all internal and surgical treatments are carried out with modern methods, and the hospital offers quality service to patients.

In 1996, our company started being active in the field of education and training. Education services are offered in modern buildings that we have constructed ourselves. We have kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools and the so-called Anatolian high schools and we have a good standing in the sector. Our young brothers and sisters are the guarantee for our future, and they are offered opportunities such as sports, travelling, cultural activities and dormitories along with education.

Within the İhlas Group, İhlas Motor in the automotive sector, and İhlas Sigorta A.Ş. in the insurance sector have been successfully active for many years.

As our company kept growing, our premises in Cağaloğlu were not sufficient anymore. When we were working on the construction of our headquarters where all İhlas Group companies would come together, we entered the construction sector with the housing complex named İhlas Yuva Sitesi. With astonishing speed, İhlas Holding A.Ş. completed huge projects such as Yeni Bosna İhlas Holding Headquarters Building, Bahçelievler and Marmara school buildings, Kuzuluk and Armutlu thermal holiday complexes, Marmara 1-2-3 and Bizimevler 1-2-3-4-5 housing complexes. All these buildings were constructed with the latest construction techniques and the spacious flats of these robust buildings were handed over to the customers.

As a group that is active in many fields such as education, health and construction, could you talk about the reasons for your selecting Nebim V3 ERP?

With Nebim V3, we have obtained benefits such as accurate accounting records, correct financial tables in any way that we call for, and fast reports for the upper management. In addition to these, we save a lot of time as on Nebim V3 we can now quickly carry out various transactions in different work proceses that we used to do manually. This way, our productivity increased in all our business processes.
