Güneş mentioned that the brand follows the latest developments and is on its way to become a world brand with the basic philosophy of customer satisfaction. He evaluated the part that Nebim plays in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

As a textile company that has been founded nearly 100 years ago, how would you evaluate the textile industry in Turkey?

Our country is one of the leading countries in the world in textile and clothing production. With regards to the interpretation of textiles and clothing, designing teams have been included and the country has started creating its own brands. On the other hand, production is carried out for world brands as well. Our country is capable of producing the so-called fast fashion products successfully according to their own dynamics in a timely manner.

Could you talk about your customer profile?

The backbone of our target group consists of quality-focused male and female customer groups from the segments c+, b+ and a, either active in the work force, or studying at the university and adjusting their own style in order to enter the business life. Our collections include various materials and special products in order to give accurate messages to different target groups.

What does customer satisfaction signify for you?

The moment the customer is not happy with the products after purchase and use, all possible needs of the customer must be met. Absolute customer satisfaction is the basic principle of Karaca. Karaca is an important brand that is associated in the subconscious mind of the customer with quality, durability, social responsibility and after-sales services.

Could you please talk about your export activities?

Çift Geyik Karaca decided to participate at the retail sector from 2005 onwards. As of 2010, in order to fulfill the necessities of being among the important players, the brand developed its activities around a life style, a life story of a woman, a man, and a young person. Thus, concept stores were created. Our own stores and franchise stores were organized. The IT department, logistics, product management and planning departments are going to be prepared with the future in our minds. The company wants to implement the retail store system that it has established in Turkey with the same clarity abroad. A healthy infrastructure consists of planning, IT, logistics, marketing, human resources and the right management, and such a step must be taken when all the correct pieces have come together. At the moment, our exports continue in multi-brand stores as corners. But our aim is the franchise system. 2012 is the year for collecting requests for us. Starting as of 2013, Karaca shall be completing the above mentioned factors in foreign countries as is the case in Turkey. Primarily, North Africa, Middle East, Iraq, Italy, Northern Europe, Russia and Canada shall make the start.

Could you talk about your company profile, number of staff and production processes?

Çift Geyik Karaca was founded in Bandırma in 1917. The company started producing in Istanbul as “Karaca Örme Sanayi” in 1949. In 1961, the company is the first Turkish textile brand that exports goods. Around 1965, Karaca was exporting to 36 countries in 5 continents, and is one of the companies with the highest brand recognition. In 1998, Tekfen Holding acquired Çift Geyik Karaca. In 2005, the company joined the Narin Group and started a new branding movement.

In a very short amount of time, Çift Geyik Karaca has started to grow again within Narin Group, which has been producing knitwear with 100 % Turkish capital since 1993 and has been exporting them to many countries in Europe and the Middle East since 1998. The aim is to increase the number of stores to 90 until the end of this year.

How was 2011 for Karaca, and what are your targets for 2012?

Our target was to open 60 stores in 2011, and we exceeded this target and opened 65 stores. In 2012, we want to reach 90 stores.
