With 70 stores and a diverse product range ranging from clothing to accessories, cosmetics to decoration, Yargıcı, which is one of the indispensable choices of modern and urban people with its experience of nearly half a century, continues to manage its business processes with Nebim V3. Describing Nebim as the backbone of their business, Yargıcı General Manager Oğul Sipahioğlu shared his views on Nebim V3 Business Intelligence.
Yargıcı is a 47-year-old company founded in 1978. We define ourselves as a fashion brand, but we also sell accessories and furniture products in addition to apparel, shoes, bags categories. We like to define ourselves as a retailer because a large portion of our annual revenue comes from our own stores. Emir Yargıcı but we were a fund company for the last 12 years until Tims Group bought all the shares of Yargıcı at the beginning of 2025. The company has 70 stores. 40 of them are their own and the rest are owned by their dealers. 5 of them are abroad and the rest are all in Turkey.
As we are a company that defines itself as a shopkeeper and retailer, most of our lives are spent in the field. Therefore, fast and easy access to data has become a very important part of our lives. During store visits, what was the turnover of this store, what were its sales in different categories, how was it last year, being able to access that data in a snap has become an indispensable part of our lives, where we manage the work in the field, or rather make sense of it and identify that problem if we have a problem, or if our business is doing well, where is it doing well, why is it doing well. Because before, transforming data into a meaningful report was as much a problem as accessing data. It was a matter of visualizing it and making it more meaningful. Those who know field teams know that they do not like to deal with too many numbers, they drown in excel tables and they like to reach what they want quickly. Nebim Business Intelligence provided us exactly this.

Nebim V3 Business Intelligence has become our hand and foot, which we use a lot in terms of accessing real-time data, not dealing with turning the data into reports, but being able to put into action what that data expresses to us. Also, after having similar experiences with other companies before, being able to handle this work through Nebim, the backbone of our business, has been very valuable both in terms of convenience and in terms of the ease of realizing our different needs quickly through the Business Intelligence formula. Our field teams, from quality control to our sales managers and category teams, created their own ready-made formats with different report formats, and they had the opportunity to easily change and revise them according to their needs. All our data is already on Nebim, we call it the backbone of the company. Being able to use everything there, supported by the visuals at our fingertips, has made our business processes much easier, I really don't know what we were doing before that.
The main issue here was to determine what we want, what we need, in what format we want, rather than what Nebim can or cannot do or the possibilities offered by the Business Intelligence tool. Because when we were told that there was such a project and there was such an opportunity, endless demands and needs started to flow from every department. It was a matter of prioritizing them, phasing them and transferring the most needed thing to Nebim in its most needed form. That preparation phase actually facilitated the launch or had the potential to make it difficult because, after all, the needs and demands are endless but time is limited, we spent a long time on that side. The preparation phase was a priority for us in terms of which numerical needs we should transfer to Nebim Business Intelligence and in which format. A better preparation phase was to convey more concretized, detailed and thought-out requests to the company. After that, it was already easy.
I am the former sales director of Yargıcı, so I have been in the field for years, and there are important needs to be able to quickly access instant turnover, sub-divisions of instant turnover, category breakdown, store breakdown and retail metrics, to be able to base the subject on numbers and concrete data without calling someone, without asking someone for a report, without getting lost in emails looking for the data I want in the last report sent, even while chatting with my manager on the go, even while having a coffee. If you don't talk about data, if you don't talk about numbers and metrics, your conversations don't go beyond the fact that no customers came today, it rained, the mall is very empty today. In order to put the conversations into a plan that can put them into action, you first need to agree on the data. For this, you need easy access to data at any time, in real time.

Regardless of whether I am at work, out, visiting or at home during the day, Nebim V3 Business Intelligence application is really the application I use the most after Instagram to see everything from estimating the closing turnover, how which store performed that day, which metrics were missing, whether I need to reach the sales team by phone and tighten something. I can access all the data I need on a single page, and with its dynamic structure, I can click on different images and examine the work in the detail of that image down to the lower layers. For myself, I use it for sales tracking and metrics on the merchandising side. It helps me prepare for a previously unplanned meeting in five or ten minutes. In that sense, it has become the application I use the most after Instagram.
As we use it, as we understand what it can do, we have plans and projects to access more data and easier data with our demands. As each department sees that the other department is using it and says, “I want this too,” we get excited and we will be able to handle our time-consuming and time-distracting work more easily. That's why we are a happy user.
